It’s that time of year again! Time to fill the house with various sized pumpkins to add a little fall color til they rot! I’ve never been one to love the process of carving all the way through, and felt so limited by my lack of upper body strength, so this shallow carving is perfect for me! As creative as I want to be with pumpkin carving, I just don’t have the skill when it comes to the real carve-all-the-way-through, pop-in-a-candle kind of carving. My sister loves to receive real mail in her real mailbox and loves the unconventional surprises the most. So I thought it would be fun to try and mail her a pumpkin with a little message on it. It was a success, and albeit a little pricey at $6, totally worth it to get her excited phone call. I didn’t even sign my name or provide a return address, but she knew it was me. Success all around.
