As creative as I want to be with pumpkin carving, I just don’t have the skill when it comes to the real carve-all-the-way-through, pop-in-a-candle kind of carving. My sister loves to receive real mail in her real mailbox and loves the unconventional surprises the most. So I thought it would be fun to try and mail her a pumpkin with a little message on it. It was a success, and albeit a little pricey at $6, totally worth it to get her excited phone call. I didn’t even sign my name or provide a return address, but she knew it was me. Success all around.
