I like to get those cheap tree picks and other little decor items from places like Michael’s and JoAnn’s and use them for various gift toppers. They’re pretty cheap on their own, but the closer it gets to Christmas, the cheaper they get! This is one of those simple things with twine pulling from each direction and the name cut out like holly leaves.
This is super simple to do with a $1 sparkly snowflake ornament from Target and red & white baker’s twine. The key to perfect spacing is making sure the strings are very tightly tied together in the back. Start with the middle and the other 2 are easier.
These are for my husband and I’s 2nd annual Christmas in July celebration. This year I went all out and made a logo for it, planned activities & treats, and utilized my new-found skill for printing on lunch bags.
